![]() I would imagine as soon as you got there, you would hear her from her window saying, "Look, creep, I don't know you and I have a gun. However, it would have been kind of interesting to see what would happen if you went across the gap to her lookout-even though she forbade it. It was evident she just wanted someone to connect with on a platonic level, and keeping the interactions strictly "on the radio" was the only way to ensure that. The ending was not what we expected, and it was a letdown to not see Delilah, but it was a proper ending for this story and game. The devs noted that the real treat was in the dialogues you unlock as a result of your choices and that this was probably too subtle of a move for most to notice, making it seem more linear. But realistically, one summer in the woods may not change a situation like his.
